Bodied by Vegan, LLC was founded by creator Stacie Lynn Whitesides. Stacie is a native of western North Carolina but currently resides in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Having deeply sown southern roots, she grew up on food for the soul, popularly known as “Soul Food”. Growing up in the home of a mother who owned a catering business and being the granddaughter the head chef at Canoe Brook Country Club in Short Hills, New Jersey cooking comes natural. After experiencing natural complications with her health, Stacie found strength and resolve by transitioning to a Plant-based diet. She has often stated that cooking is therapeutic in the sense that she is helping others “body” their way to a healthier lifestyle.

 

A natural foodie...

Stacie enjoys exploring the various cuisines of the district. Noticing the lack of plant-based options sparked Stacie to recreate all of her favorite meals in her own kitchen, but with a “Vegan” flare. Hence, the birth of Bodied by Vegan. Bodied by Vegan offers a tour of Plant-Based living by offering a taste of modern American cuisines and its unique incorporation of other cultures. Bodied by Vegan is more than a name it is a unique experience. Bodied by Vegan’s e-cookbook will be released later this year.
